Sheriff Claims Viral Cop Video Is ‘Misleading’ — So I Found the Missing Footage 136,747 views Premiered 5 hours ago #lawenforcement #bodycam #lawyer Chris Nixon posted bodycam video to Facebook showing him getting attacked by deputies with the Lyon County (Nevada) Sheriff’s Office. It showed a brutal attack by a heavily-tattooed and aggressive deputy, against a suspect who was at worst, failing to follow orders during a minor traffic investigation. The unedited bodycam footage just looked really bad to the public, and it started to go viral. So then, it makes its way to the local TV news stations. At that point the sheriff steps in and makes a public statement about the incident. The Sheriff tells the local TV news that he fully supports the actions of the deputies, claiming that Chris had misled the public by leaving out the first 5 minutes of the bodycam footage. And so the sheriff provided that missing 5 minutes of footage to the TV news. So the TV news showed some of this missing 5 minutes, but not all of it. I don't know who needs to hear this, but it's just south of 2026. Cliven Bundy and everyone involved in that armed stand-off have yet to be charged or even sued for standing their ground, right or wrong. They have WON, essentially showing the man and the public what happens when "the people" stand up with a big fuck-you in their hands. Cliven Bundy is the Nevada cattle rancher who's family and friends/supporters had a very publicly known and seen armed standoff with the Federal Government, namely the BLM. The BLM, for all intents and purposes had stolen cattle they didn't have any legal authority to take. The Bundy group said, umm yeah, not today fedboys. They made the BLM give the cattle back that they were "stealing" and did so essentially at gun point. They have basically walked away clean and clear from any of the court cases that became of that. Why? Because the people, that's why. Everyone knows what this meant. Everyone knows where it will go should a different outcome had came about. The people, not the government have the power, and with guns, ammo and "we the people" have super powers, which is exactly what the founding fathers intended when they wrote that Constitution.
