I am from Memphis and I know some of you might live in a State along the Mississippi River. Have you ever wondered why the French had settlements from Minnesota Des Moines St Louis Cape Girardeau on down to New Orleans. And notably not at Memphis. They tried and were savagely wiped out so bad by the Cherokee Indians that they didn't ever try again.
