The middle East has always been an enigma for the rest of the world. The most beautiful and the most horrible events of the world history took place there. There is a hypothesis that the three Magi who came to welcome the baby Jesus came from the modern-day Iran and possibly they were from the people that are nowadays called Kurdish nation. Today, as 2000 years ago modern Kurds slowly but steadily recognize and welcome Christ again.

I didn’t have the time to say good bye
You went away before I had my family,
I didn’t take advice applied to life,
And now I only keep the memories,
Since childhood I was told that only you
Took me for strolls in little pinkish buggy,
You cooked for me and cleaned and overall
Read me the books about the little bunny,
I wasn’t close to you in later life,
I didn’t feel I need your wisdom,
Now, I’m alone, submerged in people’s lies,
Praying and hoping you have reached God’s Kingdom
